Somewhere At Sea....

Into every life there comes times of turmoil when we just want to get away to ourselves. Times when nothing makes sense or seems to add up anymore. Spirit and soul has been battered, and we are emotionally "Man Overboard", and in desperate need of a life boat. These experiences help us to learn and grow, and we become stronger as we emerg from the darkness. And the good times are extra sweet then, and we eventually realize that it was just life teaching us lessons over and over until we learned them. Then the journey is the destination......

Not often, thankfully, but the need for a lifeboat has presented itself to me once or twice. Fortunately, someone was there to help me on as the blind inexperience and fears of my youth made me reluctant to get on by myself. As for the journey, to quote another great Canadian, "the point of the journey is not to arrive - anything can happen..."

Anonymous, you got it. Just to be, and enjoy the trip. But sometimes, for some of us, it takes a lifetime for that to really sink in. Thanks, Dave
