Calla Lily

This past weekend, my wife and I celebrated our 41st Anniversary, and this lovely Calla Lily plant was one of the flowers that made our day wonderful. However, after the gathering with our children, and grandchildren was over, I could not resist getting out the camera and doing a couple of shots. The colour shown here is not accurate, as it is actually more purplish. I just used the swivel lamp beside my chair to light this bloom, and as such it is much warmer in tone. But I like this rendition very much, and decided to go with it. The softness is from using my 100mm Varisoft lens. Hope you like it also.
