Cottam, Ont. Church Yard

Today was a nice but coolish spring day, and we decided to take a jaunt out into the county and get away from the painting and removing old wall paper, for a while. We took a route that went through the communities of Lakeshore, Essex and Cottam, in Essex County. While passing through Cottam, this church yard scene caught the corner of my eye, and I decided to check it out a little more. After taking a few shots, and returning to the car, my wife informed me that some of the inscriptions on the tomb stones dated back to the 1800's. Lots of history there for sure. These scenes were taken in colour, but I felt that conversion to sepia would be more suitable.

Very nice images Dave. They reminiscent of the salon pictures of the 1930's. Very nice patterns and textures.
Thanks
Mike
