From a Box Brownie, to the latest digital gear, it is all just tools, or a means of stating who we are, at various points in time. The sophistication of our images has more to do with our personal growth, than the equipment that we acquire along the way.
For the past few weeks, it appears that the music had taken priority over the photography, and as a result, I have not posted anything for a while. However, I did manage to get in a little photo shoot with a few of the fellow members of the Windsor Camera Club, and this shot was one of the ones that I took of an old hood ornament. For some reason, I forgot to take note of the car that it belonged to. The orange on the underside of the "arrow" is actually achieved by bouncing my flash off of the orange coloured car that was parked next to this one. There is no actual colour on this ornament, except for the green on the underside of the radiator cap that it is fastened to. Since we all just celebrated St. Patrick's Day and a lot of us endured "Sheila's Brush" that followed it, I thought that the Orange and the Green might be somewhat appropriate.....I know that's stretching things a bit.....Oh well!
